We know this year’s 2018 leopard gecko hatchling update is late, and we do apologize. A spike in workload during the past few months got us very busy. But never fear, the pictures are here. We know how much you love looking at gecko pictures. We hope you enjoy what we have to show you in this article below.
2018 Leopard Gecko Hatchling Update – Before & After
One of the fun things we like to do is to show you the before & after pictures. In this case pictures of the gecko hatchlings right out of the eggs, and what they look like 2-3 months later. It is always interesting to see the changes they go through in such short time. Without further ado, let’s get right to it.

2018 Leopard Gecko Hatchling Update – Lemon Frost
While we bred a pair of Lemon Frost leopard geckos this year, we will not be selling their offspring. This is due to a genetic issue discovered with the Lemon Frost genes. Lemon Frosts could develop tumors, some develop them some don’t. The tumors are iridiophoromas, a tumor of the iridiophore. As such since we are an ethical and reputable breeder, we will not knowingly sell leopard geckos with known genetic defects.
When we first obtained our Lemon Frosts last year, no one knew tumors could develop with the Lemon Frost genes. By the time we learned about the tumor issues, we already had eggs incubating. So while we absolutely love the unique looks of Lemon Frosts, we will not be breeding them any longer. We may still photo shoot the Lemon Frosts since they are quite photogenic. But we feel we should clarify this before anyone has any questions.
If you are a breeder looking to purchase Lemon Frost to breed, please don’t.
